Bernard Loughran

Bernard Loughran is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various financial roles. Currently serving as Finance Director at Sixt since August 2017, Bernard has also held positions as Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and previously worked as Project Accountant at H&K International. Bernard began a career in finance at Sixt Rent a Car as a Financial and Business Analyst following a role as Audit Senior at KPMG Ireland, where Bernard was involved in the Consumer & Industrial Markets Audit Division after completing a Master’s Degree in Accounting at University College Dublin. Additionally, Bernard co-founded County Car Valeting at the age of 17, demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen. Bernard holds multiple degrees in Accounting and Commerce from esteemed institutions, including a Bachelor's Degree from University College Dublin and experience in international business studies at Universidad de Salamanca.
