Dr. Florian Brieler

Dr. Florian Brieler is an accomplished executive in software engineering, currently serving as the Executive Director of Software Engineering at SIXT since January 2019, where leadership is provided to the IT division for "Pricing" and efforts are underway to establish a new "Martech" division. Prior to this role, Dr. Brieler held the position of Head of Software Engineering at SIXT, managing international engineering teams. Experience at Intel Corporation from February 2011 to December 2018 included roles as Software Engineering Manager and System Engineer, while earlier positions at Infineon Technologies, msg, and the Universität der Bundeswehr München contributed to a strong foundation in IT consulting and research. Dr. Brieler holds a Dr. rer. nat and a Diplom in Informatik from Bundeswehr University Munich.
