We were trained to override our own bodies. Push through, don't feel it, perform until we became the last to know we were overwhelmed.

Sixth Lab is building wearable technology that helps you read and steady your own internal state the body's own sense of itself, sometimes called interoception. Worn discreetly, it reads a few of the signals that matter most for how you feel your heart's rhythm and the patterns in your voice and does three things: helps you steady yourself in the moment, reflects your patterns back to you over time, and offers a quiet early read of stress building slowly, before it tips.

We're not building another dashboard of scores. We're building an instrument designed, unusually, to make itself less necessary one meant to help you develop your own awareness over time, so you come to rely on the device less, not more.

We process on the device, by design. A wellbeing product that profits from your dependence has a conflict of interest built into its model, and we'd rather earn trust than attention.

We're starting with the people who feel this gap most acutely late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD adults and we're building it with them, not for them, through open research and co-design.

We're early, and honest about it. We share our progress, our evidence, and what we get wrong, in public.
