They started their career at Sony Music Entertainment as a College Marketing Rep, where they implemented grassroots marketing initiatives for Sony Music artists in the Seattle area. They then joined Columbia Records as a Marketing Coordinator, where they assisted a Senior Director of Marketing and coordinated the creation of promotional tools for various artists. Later, they became a Marketing Manager at Columbia Records, leading album release campaigns for artists like Broken Bells and The Temper Trap.

After their time at Columbia Records, Darby Moeller joined Mom+Pop Music as a Marketing Manager, where they developed and cultivated album release campaigns for artists such as Neon Indian and Freelance Whales.

Finally, Darby Moeller joined Sixthman, where they held several roles. They started as a Partner Relations Manager and then became the Director of Partner Relations, Artist Relations, and Business Development. In these roles, they were responsible for leading the strategy, identifying, pitching, negotiating, and closing new event business. They also oversaw the development of event budgets and partner-facing presentations.
