John E.

John E. has a strong background in security architecture and consulting. John started their career as a Security Architect/Technical Architect at Fujitsu Global in 2003 and worked there until 2008. John then joined the National Policing Improvement Agency as an Enterprise Security Architect before moving on to HP Enterprise Security Services as a Deputy Lead Security Architect. In 2012, John joined Fujitsu Global again as the Deputy Lead Security Architect until 2015. John then worked at The Niteworks Partnership as a Security Architect/IA Consultant, followed by a role at Logicalis as a Security Architect. In 2017, John joined John Lewis & Partners as a Senior Security Consultant and also took on the role of Security Architect/IA Consultant at The Niteworks Partnership. John then moved on to SiXworks Limited as the Chief Information Security Officer in 2017 and finally joined HMG as an Enterprise Security Architect in 2018.

John E. completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford from 1994 to 1997. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications throughout the years, including the Associate -ACIIS from the Chartered Institute of Information Security in 2020, the NCSC Certified Practitioner (CCP) Security & Information Risk Advisor from the National Cyber Security Centre in 2015, the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) from the Cloud Security Alliance in 2015, the CESG Certified Practitioner (CCP) Security & Information Risk Advisor from the National Cyber Security Centre in 2012, the Associate (A.Inst.ISP) from the Institute of Information Security Professionals in 2009, the CESG Listed Advisor Scheme (CLAS) from CESG in 2009, and the CISSP from (ISC)² in 2007.
