Thomas Starr

Thomas Starr, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, CNL, CCRN, currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer for Saint Joseph Health System, overseeing operations at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center and Saint Joseph Plymouth Medical Center. Additionally, Thomas holds the position of Interim Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing, Loyola University Chicago, and serves as Affiliate Clinical Assistant Professor. Thomas is actively involved in nursing leadership as President-Elect and President of the Illinois Organization of Nurse Leaders and has a history of significant clinical operations management roles at Loyola Medicine and Rush University Medical Center. Thomas's educational background includes a Doctor of Nursing Practice focused on Transformative Systems Leadership, a Master's Degree in Nursing, and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, complemented by foundational studies in pre-nursing.
