Atli Egilsson

Atli Egilsson is a software engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently employed at Sjóvá-Almennar tryggingar hf since November 2023. Prior to this role, Atli worked at Teya from April 2021 to November 2023, and at Code North from May 2018 to May 2022. Additional experience includes a position at Fraunhofer USA CESE as a software engineer in early 2020, a teaching assistant role at Háskólinn á Akureyri where Atli taught Discrete Mathematics I and II from August 2016 to April 2018, and a web application developer position at the Icelandic Centre for Research - RANNIS for a brief period in 2017. Atli began a career in retail as a part-time manager at Sportver ehf from January 2007 to September 2017. Educationally, Atli is pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at Reykjavik University, expected to complete in June 2024, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Reykjavik University and the University of Ottawa.
