Reuben McLaughlin

Reuben McLaughlin has extensive experience in the field of photography and video production. Reuben started their career in 2002 as a Principal at Reuben McLaughlin. Reuben then worked as a Camera Operator at Platform Productions Inc. starting from March 2008. In May 2008, they joined Loop media as a Director of Photography, specializing in commercial and web video production, and continued working there until August 2014. From 2014 onwards, they held multiple roles in different companies, including TC Media as a Director of Photography, focusing on commercial and web video production, and Keyring Media as a Director of Photography, specializing in industrial video production. Currently, since September 2018, Reuben McLaughlin serves as the Director of Photography for web commercials at SJR.

Reuben McLaughlin's education history includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film Production from Ryerson University, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended Trent University from 1995 to 1997, where they studied Cultural Studies. Reuben also has some training in the culinary field, as they pursued an apprenticeship as a chef at George Brown College, although the specific start and end years for this experience are unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Reuben has also obtained a certification in Working at Heights from the Ontario Ministry of Labour in December 2018.
