Garth's background includes significant roles at Samsung Medical Center as both Professor in Hospital Management and Director of International Affairs from 2005 to July 2016, along with a Vice President position in Strategic Business Development for Healthcare at Samsung Construction & Trading Corporation from 2013 to March 2015. Early career highlights include leadership positions at Institute Pasteur, POSCO, and Biogen, in addition to serving as a Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force. Garth holds an MBA in Financial Management from MIT Sloan School of Management, an MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine, and a BA in Biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
