Brian Egan

Brian Egan is a distinguished legal professional with extensive experience in both private practice and government service. Currently serving as a Partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates since October 2021, Brian has previously held partner positions at Steptoe & Johnson LLP and has served in high-level roles such as Legal Adviser at the U.S. Department of State and Deputy Assistant to the President at the National Security Council. Brian's legal career began with the U.S. Department of Justice and has included positions as Associate Counsel and Attorney-Adviser in various governmental capacities. Brian earned a Doctor of Law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s degree in English and Political Science from Stanford University.
