Daniel Michael

Daniel Michael is a Partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where they serve as co-head of the Web3 and Digital Assets Group. They advise corporations and individuals on complex criminal and civil enforcement matters. Previously, Daniel was the chief of the SEC Enforcement Division’s Complex Financial Instruments Unit, overseeing significant enforcement actions and developing pioneering investigative techniques. Their career includes roles as a law clerk for Judge Richard Berman and as an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, along with extensive experience at the SEC. Daniel holds a JD from Harvard Law School.
