Mark Foster is a seasoned securities litigator with extensive experience in defending companies and their directors and officers against securities class actions and shareholder derivative lawsuits. Currently a partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates since February 2023, Mark has represented a diverse clientele, including Fortune 100 companies and startups across various sectors such as life sciences, retail, manufacturing, and technology. Prior to this role, Mark served as a partner at Morrison & Foerster LLP from June 2004 to February 2023, where Mark co-chaired the Securities Litigation, Enforcement, and White-Collar Defense Group as well as the San Francisco litigation group. Mark's legal career began as an associate at Skadden Arps from 2002 to 2004. Mark holds a BA in Political Science and History from the University of California, Davis, and a JD from Santa Clara University School of Law.
