Michael Cardella

Michael Cardella is a partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates, where they advise clients on U.S. income tax matters, particularly in relation to mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and financing transactions. They previously served as an associate at both Skadden and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Michael has been recognized as one of Best Lawyers’ Ones To Watch in America for their contributions to the field. Additionally, they are an adjunct professor at George Washington University Law School, teaching corporate income tax. Michael holds a Master of Laws from New York University School of Law and a JD, cum laude, from Harvard Law School, along with an AB in Economics with honors from Princeton University.
