Michael Frese

Michael Frese is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Counsel at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates since September 2013. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a Junior researcher and lecturer at the University of Amsterdam from August 2006 to August 2012, and completed internships at notable organizations including the Bundeskartellamt, the Office of Fair Trading, and the European Commission's DG COMP. Michael holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Antitrust from the University of Chicago (2012-2013), a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Antitrust from the University of Amsterdam (2006-2012), and a Meester in de rechten (LLB and LLM) from the same institution (2000-2005).
