Peter Newman

Peter Newman is a Partner and Head of European Corporate Restructuring at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates, a position held since February 2020. In addition to this role, Peter serves as an Adjunct Professor at New York University School of Law from January 2019, co-teaching a course on Cross-Border Insolvency alongside Judge Arthur Gonzalez. Prior to joining Skadden, Peter was a Partner at Milbank LLP from October 2004 to February 2020. Peter Newman holds a Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law (2001-2004) and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Maryland (1997-2001).
