Shane T. has extensive experience in legal counsel and management within the New York State Unified Court System, serving as Counsel to the Chief Administrative Judge from September 2017 to September 2023 and currently as Director of the Appointments Unit in the Executive Office. Prior legal experience includes roles as a Staff Attorney at the Criminal Defense Practice of The Legal Aid Society and as a Post-Graduate Fellow at the Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem. Shane T. also contributed as a Student Attorney at the Georgetown University Law Center's Criminal Justice Clinic and completed legal internships at the Criminal Appeals Bureau of The Legal Aid Society and the Center for Family Representation. Recently, Shane T. joined Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP as Manager of Professional Development in Litigation, beginning in May 2024. Shane T. is an alumnus of the Georgetown University Law Center, graduating in 2011.
