Steve Sunshine is a Partner and the Head of the Global Antitrust and Competition Group at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where they have been leading antitrust representations in numerous M&A matters since 2007. Previously, Steve served as Partner and Head of the Antitrust Practice at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP from 2005 to 2007, and held various roles at Shearman & Sterling LLP, culminating as Partner and Head of the Worldwide Antitrust Practice from 1995 to 2005. Additionally, from 1993 to 1995, they were the Deputy Assistant Attorney General in Charge of Merger Enforcement at the U.S. Department of Justice. Steve obtained a JD with magna cum laude honors from Boston College Law School and an AB in Chemistry from Brown University.
