Vanessa Johnson

Vanessa Johnson is a Tax Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates, with experience dating back to September 2015. Prior to this, Vanessa served as an International Fellow in the DG Office of Legal Counsel at the World Health Organization from January 2015 to April 2015, and as a Summer Associate at Skadden from May 2014 to August 2014. Vanessa gained judicial experience as a Judicial Intern under Chief Judge William Conley at the Federal District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin from May 2013 to August 2013, and also worked as a Pardon Advisory Intern in the Office of Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle during the summer of 2010. Vanessa holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of Michigan Law School (2012-2015) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Legal Studies, Political Science, and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2008-2012).
