Ralf Krämer has extensive work experience in various engineering and management roles. Ralf currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at SKAN AG since April 2022. Prior to this, they held the positions of Director Customized Solutions and Head of Customized Solutions at SKAN AG from January 2021 to March 2022 and from June 2020 to December 2020, respectively.
Before joining SKAN AG, Ralf worked at Tetra Pak as the Head of Operations Engineering from September 2018 to April 2020. Ralf also held the role of Head of Design Engineering at SKAN AG from January 2017 to September 2018.
Ralf's earlier experience includes various positions at Tetra Pak from 2003 to 2016, such as Director "Future Packaging Material Technologies", Department Manager for "Advanced Film & Barrier Solutions", "Material Treatment", and "Finishing & Web Handling", and Mechanical Designer & Standard Line Owner for "Offset Printing". Additionally, they worked as a Department Manager at Baldwin Jimek from 2001 to 2003 and as a Production Equipment Responsible & Project Manager at Prestando AB from 1998 to 2001.
Ralf Krämer started their career at Preussag Noell GmbH as a Project Manager & Engineering Draftsman from 1990 to 1997 after completing their military service in the Bundeswehr. Ralf began their professional journey as an Engineering Draftsman (including apprenticeship) at Grafbau GmbH & Co from September 1983 to December 1988.
Ralf Krämer began their education at Realschule Wolffskeel-Schule, where they obtained their General Certificate of Secondary Education (Realschulabschluss) from 1979 to 1983. Ralf then attended Städt. Gewerbl. BBZ I Würzburg - Franz-Oberthür-Schule from 1983 to 1986, where they obtained a degree in Engineering Draftsman, specializing in Steel- and Metal Constructions. Ralf furthered their education from 1990 to 1994 at DAG Technikum, Essen, where they obtained a State-examined Technician degree in Metal Engineering Technology, focusing on Statics & Strength of Materials, Steel/Metal Construction, Production Technology, and Industrial Management.
In addition to their formal education, Ralf Krämer has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Some of these include: "Betriebswirtschaft für Nicht-Betriebswirte" and "Führungslehrgang" from ZfU International Business School in 2017, "GMP Basis - Data Integrity" from MGP Consulting in 2017, "Being innovative" from IMD Business School in 2015, "Leading Managers Programme" from Ashridge in 2012, "GROW - a Tetra Pak Leadership Program" from Stockholm School of Economics IFL Executive Education in 2010, "The Management Challenge" from Scandinavian Education Center AB in 2008, and "Project Management" from ESI and Tetra Pak Global Training and Development in 2005.
