Kate Jay

Kate Jay has extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management, currently serving as Head of Procurement Services at Skanska since March 2015, with a series of roles including Procurement Lead for the ERP Programme and Supply Chain Manager. Prior to Skanska, Kate Jay worked at TATA Steel from July 2005 to February 2015 as Senior Sourcing Lead for UK Road Transport, managing an annual spend exceeding £90 million. Earlier experience includes material planning at International Rectifier, where responsibilities involved commodity buying and JIT implementation, and senior buying at Panasonic, focusing on electronics and MRP control. Kate Jay holds an HNC in Business from Bridgend College.
