Michael Major

Michael Major is currently a Design Director at Skanska UK, where they have worked since 2009, leading the design strategy for major healthcare projects, including the £1.4 billion Nya Karolinska. Michael previously served as Bid Director and Assistant Bid Director at Skanska UK, focusing on large hospital developments and ensuring compliance with clinical and technical standards. Prior to joining Skanska, they were a Senior Design Manager/Design Director at Carillion, managing various healthcare PFI bids. Michael earned a BA (Hons) and Diploma in Architecture from the University of Plymouth and is a registered architect.
