Michael Onoja

Michael Onoja, PhD, currently serves as a Carbon Manager for Skanska and is a Technical Committee Member for BSI, where contributions include developing environmental management standards for lifecycle tools and techniques. Previously, Michael held the position of Carbon Strategy Manager at Severn Trent, delivering the Net Zero Carbon Strategy for the Bioresources business unit. Other roles include Portfolio Manager (Research) at UK Research and Innovation, engaging in multidisciplinary research management, and Teaching Assistant in Reservoir Engineering at Coventry University, where responsibilities included designing tutorials and supporting MSc dissertations. Academic credentials encompass a Ph.D. in Carbon Geo-Storage and a Master's in Petroleum and Environmental Technology from Coventry University, along with a professional course in Life Cycle Assessment from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
