Bent Bertelsen

Bent Bertelsen has extensive experience in tax auditing and consultancy, having held various positions since 1984. Starting as a Tax Auditor at Albertslund Municipality, Bent progressed to project management roles and advanced to Special Counselor at SKAT, focusing on tax havens and international tax information exchange. Currently serving as a Chief Counsellor at Skattestyrelsen, Bent also lectures on tax-related topics in multiple forums, including OECD initiatives. With a solid educational background, including a Master's in Taxation from Handelshøjskolen i København, Bent remains actively engaged in the field, evaluating tax transparency practices as a Peer Review Assessor for the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes.
