Tom Walsh

Project Manager at Skender

Tom Walsh has a diverse work experience in project management and engineering. Tom started their career as a Project Engineer Intern at Leopardo Companies, Inc. in May 2011, where they gained hands-on experience in the field. Following this, they joined Skender in January 2012 as a Project Manager. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing tenant interior renovation projects, managing project plans, budgets, schedules, and progress reports. Additionally, they also handled tasks such as expediting project documents, preparing change orders, and checking shop drawings. Prior to their time at Skender, Tom worked as an Assistant Video Coordinator and Varsity Manager for the University of Illinois Men's Basketball team from October 2007 to December 2011.

Tom Walsh has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Champaign, which they obtained from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their College Prep education at Marist High School from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as OSHA 30 Hour Training from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration in June 2012, and LEED Green Associate from the U.S. Green Building Council in May 2012.
