Gina K.

Gina K. has over 15 years of experience in the creative industry. Gina began their career in 2006 as a Graphic Designer for The Nancekivell Group, where they developed brand identity systems and designed corporate reports. In 2009, they became a Certified Yoga Teacher for CorePower Yoga, and also worked as a Graphic Designer for LaBreche and a Senior Designer for Azul Seven. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Senior Designer at Methodologie, where they brought stories to life through award-winning design and art direction. Gina then moved on to become an Associate Creative Director for VSA Partners, Inc, where they partnered with clients and collaborated across disciplines to build experiences. From 2017 to 2019, they were an Independent Creative Director and Designer for Instrument, Fallon, The Office of Experience, Substance Collective, Bold Orange, Clockwork and more. Most recently, they have been a Creative Director for THORBURN since 2019 and an Associate Creative Director for Latitude | Brand & Experience Design | Social Enterprise since 2017.

Gina K. began their educational journey in 1996 at the University of Minnesota, where they studied Chemical Engineering, Chemistry and Studio Arts until 2001. Gina then received their BFA in Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2002. In the same year, they also attended Cranbrook Academy of Art, studying Fiber. From 2004 to 2005, Gina K. attended the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, where they obtained a Post Baccalaureate in Graphic Design. In 1998, they also attended the University of Cambridge, studying Chemical Engineering. In 2008, they obtained a Certified Yoga Teacher certification from CorePower Yoga.
