Usama Varikkottil

Usama Varikkottil has been working in the security field since 2020. In 2020, they worked as an Application Security Engineer, where they worked with over 20 clients to help safeguard their users by security testing. Usama also communicated with clients, prepared security reports and presentations, and conducted dynamic application security testing. In 2021, they joined SketchDeck as an Application Security Engineer and Security Consultant. In this role, they found security vulnerabilities in product features by security testing, conducted SAST, Static application security testing, and secure code review in the codebase, and conducted DAST, Dynamic application security testing, and discovered critical security vulnerabilities in the product. Usama also planned and executed penetration testing, and dynamic security testing assessments.

Usama Varikkottil has been pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Application from Indira Gandhi National Open University since 2019 and is expected to complete the degree in 2022. Usama also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from AL JAMIA ARTS & SCIENCE COLLEGE, PATTIKKAD in 2020. Usama Varikkottil completed their Higher Secondary (Grade 11, Grade 12) in Computer Science from GHSS Peruvallur in 2019. Usama completed their High School from The Ideal Global School Dharmagiri in 2017. Additionally, Usama Varikkottil obtained a certification in Remote Ready from Oyster\u00ae in December 2020.
