Eric Frank

Eric Frank has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several years.

Eric began their career in 1998 as an Electronic Monitoring Probation Officer for the City and County of Denver. During this time, they supervised defendants using electronic home detention equipment and conducted research and analysis for new equipment.

In 2007, Eric worked at Omnilink Systems, Inc. as the Director of Operations Center, where they were involved in the design process of offender-worn electronic monitoring devices. Eric also developed a new 24/7 call center and created policies and procedures for the center.

From 2007 to 2011, Eric worked at Alcohol Monitoring Systems as a Software Test Engineer, responsible for testing web-based and Windows-based applications. Eric also worked as a Data Analyst, analyzing data collected by a remote alcohol monitoring device.

In 2011, Eric joined Markit as a Quality Assurance Engineer, where they tested complex web-based financial applications. Eric ensured that the applications integrated smoothly with clients' other offerings and conducted testing on various platforms and devices.

Eric then moved to Rally Software, now acquired by CA Technologies, where they served as a Software Test Engineer for a SaaS agile product management solution. Eric was involved in browser testing and was a member of an agile development team.

At SendGrid, Eric worked as a Software Development Engineer in Test in 2014. Eric was responsible for the end-to-end testing of the SendGrid eMail Delivery Pipeline across different browsers.

Eric joined CA Technologies in 2014 as a Build Release Engineer, coordinating with agile development teams and conducting final testing before code release. Eric also reviewed performance test data.

In 2016, Eric transitioned to the role of Senior Software Test Engineer at CA Technologies, specifically working on the testing of a group chat app. Eric collaborated closely with product owners, UX designers, and developers.

Finally, in 2018, Eric joined SketchUp as a Test Automation Engineer. Eric was a member of the 3D Warehouse/Extension Warehouse team, serving as the Scrum Master. Eric also worked with the Common Web Services team before focusing on test automation.

Overall, Eric Frank has extensive experience in software testing, quality assurance, and agile development. Eric has worked with various companies in different roles and has demonstrated the ability to adapt and excel in diverse environments.

Eric Frank has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice/Criminology from The Ohio State University. Eric also holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Technology - DB Technologies (Oracle) from Regis University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Introduction to Programming Nanodegree (HTML/CSS/Python/JavaScript) from Udacity, SAFe Agilist from Scaled Agile Academy, Certified SCRUM ScrumMaster and Certified SCRUM Product Owner from Scrum Alliance, Certified Tester Foundation Level from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board, and Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED from the American Heart Association.
