Preethi Vas

Preethi Vas has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Preethi is currently working as a #IamRemarkable facilitator at g.co/IamRemarkable. In this role, Preethi hosts workshops and serves as an ambassador for the initiative, empowering women and underrepresented groups to openly discuss their achievements.

Prior to their current role, Preethi worked at SketchUp as a Software Engineer starting in February 2022. Before that, they held various positions at Trimble Inc., including Lead Software Engineer from April 2019 to March 2022, Senior Software Engineer from April 2016 to April 2019, and Software Engineer from June 2013 to March 2016. Their experience at Trimble Inc. has provided their with expertise in software development and engineering.

Preethi Vas completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Christ University, Bangalore, from 2006 to 2009. Preethi then pursued a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree with a specialization in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, from 2010 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Preethi has obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills. Preethi completed the course "Discovering and Implementing Your Leadership Strengths" from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in August 2022. Preethi also completed "Advanced Design Patterns: Design Principles" from LinkedIn in November 2021. Prior to that, in June 2021, they obtained the certification for "Project Initiation: Starting a Successful Project" from Coursera. Another certification, "Foundations of Project Management," was achieved by Preethi from Coursera in May 2021.

These certifications demonstrate Preethi's ongoing commitment to professional development and their desire to stay updated with the latest industry practices.
