Frederic Ponson

Frederic Ponson is the Managing Director of SKF Magnetic Mechatronics (S2M), overseeing a business unit focused on the development and manufacturing of magnetic bearings and high-speed motors for various industries. Previously, they held multiple roles at SKF, including Innovation and Business Development Manager, Engineering Director, and Application Engineering Global Manager. Frederic is also a board member at UIMM and has been involved in digitalization and open innovation initiatives, such as co-founding the "Challenge of the Industry of the Future" with ATOS. They earned an executive MBA and various certifications in technology and engineering, including a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering.
