Formed in 2021 with a singular mission to resurrect the iconic game, Ski Challenge GmbH reimagined Ski-Challenge as a mobile ski racing app, marking its triumphant return after years of hiatus. Originally reigning as the world's largest virtual ski race in 2004/2005, the game thrilled audiences with meticulously recreated downhill courses like Gröden and Kitzbühel. Now backed by prestigious ski federations Ski Austria (ÖSV), Swiss Ski, and the German Ski Federation (DSV), the rebooted version seamlessly blends real-world and fictional tracks across multiple seasons or tournaments, ensuring an unparalleled virtual skiing experience. Ski Challenge remains a frontrunner in the market, bridging the gap between players, the skiing community, and brands, solidifying its position as a leader in virtual ski racing.

Amidst this resurgence, Ski Challenge's dedicated eSports community thrives, highlighted by premier tournaments like the Nations Cup. The Nations Cup is one of the most important local Esports tournaments, bringing together players internationally to compete in a thrilling display of skill and strategy. With a focus on fostering talent and promoting sportsmanship, the Nations Cup is a platform for gamers to showcase their abilities and vie for glory. Each country’s top four players, determined through rigorous qualification tournaments, unite to form their National Team where they engage in epic tournament races, showcasing their skills against international rivals.
