Michael Grafl is a seasoned software architect with extensive experience in software development and architecture. At SKIDATA since January 2014, Michael has progressed through roles including Senior Software Architect and Architect for Software Development. Prior to that, a position as a Research Assistant at the Multimedia Communications group at Alpen-Adria-Universität from January 2010 to September 2013 involved participation in the FP7 ICT ALICANTE collaborative research project. Earlier professional experience includes working as a RubyOnRails-Developer at TAO Beratungs- und Management GmbH from July 2006 to February 2008, where Michael was responsible for system architecture, database design, and web application development. Academically, Michael holds a Dr. techn. in Informatik from Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt and has completed studies at several institutions, including Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria and ETH Zürich.
