Sarah Kopit

Sarah Kopit is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in editorial leadership and digital media strategy. Currently serving as the Editor-in-Chief at Skift since September 2023, Sarah previously held the same role at The Block from March 2022 to May 2023, overseeing a global newsroom of approximately 40 journalists. Prior to that, Sarah spent nearly 14 years at Bloomberg in various positions, including Senior Editor and Social Media Czar, where responsibilities included developing social media strategies and creating policies for real-time news gathering. Sarah also served as Managing Editor for Breaking News in the Americas, leading coverage on a range of subjects. Sarah holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Brooklyn Law School.
