Peter Engberg

Engberg is the Chairman of the Board at UMS SKELDAR, a role held since 2023. Engberg also serves as Board Member at Svenskt Flyg (2020–2025), as Chairman of the Board at Swedish Aerospace Industries (SAI) (2025–Present), and as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Skill (2021–Present). Previously, Engberg held leadership roles at Saab, including Vice President and Head of Strategy and Portfolio at Saab Aeronautics and Vice President and Head of Business Unit Traffic Management (2017–2023). Earlier in the career, Engberg served as General Manager at Saab Aeronautics in South Africa (2009–2011) and held the position of Director, Industrialization (Design and Production) at Saab Aerosystems (2003–2008). Engberg earned a Diploma Engineer Power Electricity from Polhemsskolan Gävle (1987–1988) and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tekniska högskolan vid Linköpings universitet (1990–1995).
