Mark Morgan

Mark Morgan has a diverse work experience in the field of training and consulting. Mark worked as a Challenge Lab Architect at Skillable in 2023. Prior to that, they were the President of VividTek, LLC, their own training and consulting company, where they taught Microsoft and Networking courses, developed custom courseware, and performed on-camera video training. Mark also worked as a Technical Trainer at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from 2019 to 2023, where they trained individuals and organizations in their transition to AWS cloud services.

Before joining AWS, Mark was a Senior Instructor at Global Knowledge from 2007 to 2018, where they conducted classroom and virtual training, as well as developed various courses on Microsoft technologies. Mark started their career as the President of MorganTek, Inc. in 1997, providing training and consulting services for major Microsoft training providers. Prior to that, Mark worked at Dow Jones and Company, Inc. as a Technical Trainer, Computer Systems Specialist, and Training Coordinator, where they taught courses in various operating systems and applications, handled LAN installations and troubleshooting, and trained staff on PC use and network administration.

Mark also held the position of Installation Coordinator at Dow Jones Telerate, where they provided training and support for PC to mainframe tracking and inventory software installations. Overall, Mark Morgan's work experience spans over several years, covering a range of training and consulting roles in the technology industry.

Mark Morgan began their education at Brookdale Community College in 1987, where they studied Computer Science. Mark completed their studies at Brookdale in 1992. In 1995, Mark attended Rider University and studied Computer Science, although it is unspecified if they obtained a degree from the university.

In terms of certifications, Mark obtained their first certification, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), from Microsoft in May 1992. Mark then obtained additional certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), both in May 1993. Mark achieved the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification in May 1994.

Most recently, Mark earned the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2019.
