Dr. Mark Pirtle is among those at the forefront of integral thinking in recovery. He is an integral therapist, teacher, speaker, author, filmmaker, and retreat leader. His colleagues and business partners regard Pirtle as an extremely well-informed, holistically inclined pattern-recognizer—who connects the dots between science, spirituality, wellness, business, and culture. He tirelessly mines the whole of today’s integral knowledge base for insights to help others change, heal, and then serve. Mark applies systems thinking to every aspect of his work, from evaluating and producing innovative programming to serving groups and individuals.

Synthesizing connecting neuroscience, living systems theory, positive psychology, and mindfulness meditation, he developed an evidence-based program for people suffering from stress-related conditions. Pirtle is faculty for the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine Fellowship Program at the University of Arizona. He is also the Director of Life Sciences and Programming at the Tubac Ranch Retreat Center in Tubac, Arizona.
