Eric Schottgen has a diverse and extensive work experience in construction and project management. Eric started their career at Rex Moore Electrical Contractors & Engineers as a Purchasing Agent/Project Coordinator, where they were responsible for purchasing electrical materials and equipment for various projects. Eric also handled coordination of RFI's, Record Drawings, Change Orders, and other administrative tasks related to the projects.

Later, Eric joined Sundt Construction as a Project Engineering and Preconstruction professional. Eric held this role for twelve years, from July 2005 to June 2017. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in project planning, engineering, and preconstruction activities.

Eric then moved on to Porter Consulting LLC, where they served as the Vice President for the Bay Area starting from June 2017. In this position, they provided leadership and contributed to the success and growth of the firm.

Their most recent employment is with Skillhop, where they hold the position of Chief Construction Officer since May 2019. With their expertise and leadership, Eric is responsible for overseeing and managing construction operations within the company.

Eric Schottgen attended California State University, Fresno from 1998 to 2003, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In 2008, they obtained the LEED BD + C certification from USGBC-Los Angeles. In 2014, they obtained the Certified Professional Constructor - CPC Level 2 certification from the American Institute of Constructors. Finally, in 2016, Eric obtained the DBIA certification from the Design-Build Institute of America.
