Sylvana Hiltrop

Sylvana Hiltrop has a diverse range of work experience. Sylvana is currently working as the EU Project Manager at SkillLab since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Projektbetreuung HAW.International at DAAD Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst from September 2019 to November 2022. Sylvana also worked as a Translator at Gengo from December 2018 to September 2022. In 2018, they had an internship at YFU - Deutsches Youth For Understanding Komitee e.V. Sylvana also worked as an Intercultural Trainer at YFU in August and September 2017. Furthermore, they worked as a Student Assistant in the E-Learning Office at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf from September 2015 to December 2016. Sylvana also had a short-term role as an Intercultural Trainer at YFU in August and September 2015. Finally, they worked as a Teaching Assistant DaF at Nanzan University from September 2014 to January 2015.

Sylvana Hiltrop completed their Bachelor's degree in Modernes Japan and Kommunikations- und Medienwissenschaften at the University of Düsseldorf from 2012 to 2017. In 2014, they obtained a certification in German as a foreign language (TestDaF) from the Goethe-Institut e.V. Sylvana then pursued a Master's degree in Comparative Cultural Analysis at the University of Amsterdam from 2018 to 2019.
