Patrick Portteus, LEED AP, has a diverse work experience spanning over four decades. Patrick began their career as a Combat Engineer in the US Army Corps of Engineers in 1980 and served until 1988. Following their military service, Patrick worked with the Greeby Companies, Inc. as a Project Manager, responsible for retail tenant coordination and project management. In 1992, they joined Dalan/Jupiter, Inc., serving as a Project Manager until 1996. In 1996, Patrick transitioned to The Skilllman Corporation, where they held the role of Regional Manager until 2003. Finally, they joined The Skillman Corporation as Vice President in 2003, a position they still hold today. Additionally, Patrick served as a Projects Officer in the US Army Reserves 416th Engineer Command from 1990 to 1992.

Patrick Portteus, LEED AP, obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Building Construction Technology from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Patrick completed their undergraduate education at this institution between the years 1975 and 1980.
