Chris Graves has a diverse and extensive work experience. Chris is currently working as a Cofounder & CTO at TripSuite since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Senior Backend Engineering Consultant at Skillr from January 2022. During their time at Skillr, they introduced various engineering practices and workflows, redesigned call management, implemented a "presence" feature, and created the initial version of the Skillr web app.

Before that, Chris worked as a Director at Zola.com from March 2020 to October 2021. Chris managed one of the engineering organizations, developed a group of junior ICs into managers and technical leaders, introduced personalized features and a multivariate testing system, and achieved significant SEO improvements.

From August 2017 to February 2020, Chris served as a Senior Backend Engineering Manager at HQ Trivia. Chris was responsible for the backend APIs, back-office tools, and user-facing websites. Chris developed a scalable backend, built a bulk-push notification system, designed a pluggable framework, and implemented a real-time fraud scoring system.

Chris also worked as a Senior Technology Manager at Jetsetter from January 2010 to July 2017. Chris managed an engineering team, migrated web products to Node.js/React, oversaw the brand's transition to a new revenue model, and managed technical requirements for a strategic shift in brand focus.

Prior to that, Chris had roles as a Software Design Engineer at Microsoft from September 2006 to July 2010 and at Expedia from July 2003 to September 2006.

Chris Graves attended the University of Michigan from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering.
