Glenn Schmidt

Glenn Schmidt has a long history of working in the technology industry. In 2020, they began working as the Chief Technology Officer and Head of Technology for Skills Base. In 2016, they co-founded Promptside. From 2011 to 2015, they were the Head of Software for Codeacious, a company they co-founded in 2011. During this time, they developed native iOS and Android apps, RESTful web services, PHP back-ends and Vue. Additionally, they were the Chief Technology Officer for PanelHype from 2015 to 2016. From 2005 to 2011, they were a Web Applications Developer and Service Centre Engineer for Deakin University. In this role, they built applications, enhanced applications, integrated systems, provided troubleshooting and support, and gave advice. Glenn also developed their customer service, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and learned to follow ITIL best practises for IT service management.

Glenn Schmidt attended Grovedale College from 1998 to 2003 and obtained a High School degree. Glenn then attended Deakin University from 2004 to 2011, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. In 2006, they obtained an HDI Help Desk Analyst from the Help Desk Institute. In 2007, they obtained an ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management. Glenn also holds a Zend Certified Engineer PHP 5 from Zend Technologies.
