Skillset Electric is a family-owned electrical contractor serving commercial, industrial, and development clients throughout Kansas City and the surrounding region. Built on generations of electrical experience dating back to the 1940s, our company was founded on a simple belief: do quality work, treat people right, and stand behind your word.

Led by industry veteran Chip Zuck, Skillset Electric combines decades of construction, development, and leadership experience with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach. We provide commercial electrical and low-voltage services for developers, general contractors, property owners, and businesses looking for a dependable partner from planning through completion.

Our capabilities include commercial electrical construction, tenant finishes, design-build projects, service and maintenance, structured cabling, communications infrastructure, access control, surveillance systems, and technology integration. Whether we're supporting a renovation, a new commercial facility, or a large-scale development project, our focus remains the same: delivering quality workmanship, clear communication, and reliable execution.

We understand that successful projects require more than technical expertise. They require trust, accountability, responsiveness, and a team that understands the importance of schedules, budgets, and coordination. That's why we approach every project with professionalism, urgency, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

As a family-owned company, we believe strong relationships are the foundation of long-term success. We take pride in building lasting partnerships with our clients, employees, vendors, and industry partners through honest communication, dependable service, and consistent results.

At Skillset Electric, we're building more than electrical and low-voltage systems. We're helping build the businesses, facilities, and communities that keep Kansas City moving forward.
