Elsa Lagerquist

Elsa Lagerquist is a Development Assistant at the Ethics and Public Policy Center since November 2023 and operates as a Designer for Elsa K Design, specializing in the sale of hand-dyed textiles through Etsy and craft markets. Additionally, Lagerquist is a Teacher for Skillshare, where a class on Shibori indigo dyeing has reached over 450 students. Previous experience includes serving as a Primary Nursery Caretaker at Michael Brothers Nursery and Garden Center, Technical Support Staff at Classic Learning Test, and Teacher at Trinity School at Greenlawn, where curriculum design and instruction were key responsibilities. Early career roles included a Reading Tutor at Next Step Learning Center and Student Director of External Programs at Douglas H. Hawkins Academic Services, as well as Gallery Exhibit Staff at Daughtery Gallery. Lagerquist holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art and English Literature from Hillsdale College and has completed certificates in Product Design and UI Design from Dribbble, in addition to ongoing textile education at the Rhode Island School of Design.
