Nelson co-founded Players U, emphasizing holistic athlete development, and has held various coaching and managerial roles throughout their career, including with the Chicago Cubs and New York Yankees. With a B.A. in Communications from the University of Illinois Chicago, they are also dedicated to youth sports development and player welfare through various certifications.
