Reed Laverack

Reed Laverack currently serves as the Senior Director of Engineering at Skillsoft, overseeing Codecademy's Platform and Enterprise teams since April 2024. Previously, Reed held multiple roles at Codecademy from August 2021 to April 2024, including Director of Platform Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager, managing the Web Platform team and front-end architecture. Reed's experience includes leading a team at Tyler Technologies to transition a legacy program to a cloud-native application, as well as roles at Karen Clark and Company where geospatial databases and weather data analytics were developed. Early career experiences involve managing geotechnical operations at GEI Consultants, Inc. and completing a master's degree in Civil Engineering at Northwestern University, complemented by undergraduate degrees in Civil Engineering and Physics.
