Ashish Bista

Ashish Bista has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2008. Ashish began their career as a System Administrator at Padhma-Shree Saving & Credit Co-operative Ltd. in 2008. In 2011, they joined CloudFactory.com as a Software Developer and initiated the development of the Worker Interface application using Ruby on Rails and MongoDB. In 2013, they moved to SwiftLaunch as a Software Developer and began their DevOps drive. In 2014, they joined Vavia Technologies Pvt. Ltd. as a Technical Lead and developed and maintained high-traffic web applications using Rails, AngularJS, RSpec, MySQL, etc. In 2016, they joined Nutrisystem, Inc. as a Full Stack Engineer (Rails & DevOps) and completed key initiatives such as Infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes adoption, and initiation of new services. In 2017, they joined Lifion by ADP as a Sr. Reliability Engineer and managed Development in the Cloud (DitC). In 2021, they joined CrossBorder Solutions as a Lead Cloud Engineer and continued working on AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD. Ashish is currently working as a DevOps Engineer at Skipify since 2022.

Ashish Bista obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from Tribhuvan University between 2009 and 2011. Ashish also holds certifications from Cisco (CCNA, obtained in June 2008) and Red Hat (RHCE, obtained in October 2006).
