Rob McCarthy

Rob McCarthy is a seasoned yacht broker with extensive experience in the boating industry. Currently serving as a yacht broker at SkipperBud's since October 2014, Rob specializes in the sales of boats 30' and above, representing brands such as Tiara Yachts and Cruisers Yachts. Prior experience includes working as a Great Lakes yacht broker at Galati Yacht Sales, where expertise in Grand Banks and Maritimo was developed. As General Manager at Lakeside Marine Group, Rob supervised staff and established wholesale business channels. Early career involvement as Sales and Marketing Manager at Rapid Prototype Company provided foundational skills in sales and marketing. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in General Business from Bowling Green State University and has additional education from The University of Toledo and the Chapman School of Piloting and Seamanship.
