Anna Runesson has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and positions. Anna began their career at KPMG Sweden as a Secretary-Accountant from 1986 to 1990. Anna then joined Tamro AB in 1999, working their way up to become a JD Edwards OneWorld Finance specialist, responsible for change management and functional support. In 2002, they moved to Emaar Properties PJSC in Dubai as a Manager and JD Edwards specialist, overseeing a successful system upgrade and training users. Anna then joined CEVA Logistics BV in the Netherlands as a JDE Functional Manager, before joining IMCD Group in 2012 as a JDE/Peoplesoft Functional Manager. Anna worked at IMCD Group until 2017, when they transitioned to working as a JDEdwards Finance Consultant at an unspecified company. In 2018, Anna became the Head of Finance and Accounting at VÄRNE SKOGSTJÄNST AB, a position they held until 2021. Currently, they are working as a Forest consultant at Skogsstyrelsen.

Anna Runesson's education history begins in 1978 when they attended Njudungs Gymnasieskola and obtained an Upper Secondary School degree in Economics.
