Daniel Thorell

Daniel Thorell has extensive work experience, with their most recent position being the Acting District Chief at the Swedish Forest Agency since 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Deputy Chief District Forester at the same agency since 2004, where they were involved in various responsibilities such as coordinating transnational projects, educating teachers and students, conducting forest and biodiversity inventories, and establishing nature reserves. In addition, they have also developed two board games, "Skogen" and "Sjön", which were published and widely sold in stores in the Swedish market through their own company, Skooger AB.

Daniel Thorell received a Master of Science in Biology from SLU - Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences between 1997 and 2003. In addition, they attended Lofoten Folkehogskole from 1999 to 2000, and Vladimir Pedagogical Institute from 1996 to 1997.
