Camilla Douhan has a diverse work experience in the field of education and digitalization. Camilla started their career in 1999 as a preschool teacher in Uppsala kommun and also worked as a development leader and IT-didactician. In 2013, they became a university lecturer at Uppsala University, where they taught courses related to preschool quality and curriculum. Camilla then transitioned to the role of an IT pedagogue and development leader in Uppsala kommun before joining Skolverket in 2017 as the Director of Education. In this role, they provide targeted support and process guidance for schools and educational institutions in digitalization efforts.
Camilla Douhan's education history begins in 1995 when they enrolled in Uppsala University's Förskollärarprogrammet, completing the program in 1997. In 2011, they pursued Mediepedagogik with a focus on IKT och lärande A och B at Uppsala University. That same year, they also undertook a course on Handledning och mentorskap. In 2012, they briefly studied Nätulkulturer and Webbpublicering at Uppsala University. Continuing their educational path, in 2016, they attended Halmstad University, where they studied Genus, demokrati och media.
In terms of additional certifications, Camilla Douhan obtained a certification in Ledarskapsutbildning för teamledare from Advantum Kompetens AB in January 2023.
