Nermina Wikström has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Nermina started their career as a Gymnasium teacher in Teslic in 1988, before transitioning to become the Chief Interpreter for EUFOR in 1996. In 1997, they became a Project Manager at Futura Plus until 2002. From 2003 to 2011, they worked as a Grundskollärare and Gymnasielärare, as well as an Arbetslagsledare and Studierektor IB Coordinator at Nacka kommun. Nermina then joined the Regeringskansliet as a Sakkunnig and later became an Undervisningsråd Director of Education at Skolverket from 2013. Currently, they are working at the Council of Europe as a Training and Consultancy expert, as well as an Expert ECML for the Projektet Road Map.
Nermina Wikström has a diverse education history. Nermina started their academic journey in 1979 at Teslic Gymnasiet, where they completed their studentexamen in Humaniora. Nermina then went on to attend the University of Belgrade from 1983 to 1988, where they obtained a Magisterexamen in Litteraturvetenskap och engelska. In 1990, they pursued a Bibliotekarieexamen in Biblioteksvetenskap at the University of Sarajevo.
In 2005, Nermina studied Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor at the University of South Australia. Nermina also pursued a short-term course in Flerspråkighet at Mid Sweden University in 2006. Additionally, they obtained a Magisterexamen in Pedagogik och Ledarskap from Stockholm University in the same year.
Nermina's educational journey continued in 2007 when they pursued a Lärarexamen in Engelska at Stokholms Universitet. Nermina'smost recent educational endeavor took place in 2012 at Uppsala University, although no specific degree or field of study is provided. In 2015, they engaged in Individuell coachning at Skolcoacherna, Coachutbildning.
